The Spring Lake Office of Emergency Management is responsible for the preparation, implementation and oversight of emergency preparedness for the Borough and its residents, the Office is under the direction of the Borough Emergency Management Coordinator and Chief of Police, Edward M. Kerr. chief Kerr is assisted by borough resident and firefighter, Edwin Hale. They are also assisted by representatives of our emergency services, including Police, Fire and First Aid, as well as the Department of Public Works and the Administration. The Office of Emergency Management is committed to constantly improving the safety of our residents. As a part of that effort, the OEM has developed a number of emergency warning methods as described below.
